SOLAR IMPULSE: WITHOUT A DROP OF FUEL

More than 24 hours of flight without a drop of fuel: Solar Impulse, the solar airplane developed by Bertrand Piccard, has achieved a milestone. The journal "Ouest-France" tells the story and quotes Pascal Vuilliomenet, Scientific Adjunct to the Vice President for Innovation and Commercialisation at the EPFL. The EPFL plays a significant scientific consulting role in the project.
